Variable toroidaltransformer (Variac)
We offer single-phase and three-phase variable toroidal transformers, also known as “Variacs”. Control currents can be up to 200 A per winding. The regulators are fitted with carbon contact rollers and can be equipped with a motor drive and electronic control unit in addition to a rotary knob. This allows you to use the regulators as follower control (booster), voltage stabiliser, grid stabiliser or to set up complete testing systems with control circuits for voltage or electricity. This is a perfect solution for controllable free-run DC power supply systems.
