The largest transformer to date from Bächli AG

On behalf of a renowned customer, Bächli AG developed and produced the largest isolation transformer in its history.

It is a 3-phase isolation transformer 400V//400V with a maximum output of 800kVA. A total of 460kg of copper was used in its construction and winding. What makes this transformer special is that, with dimensions (W x D x H) of 1035 x 680 mm x 1080 mm and a weight of 1380 kg, it is extremely compact and lightweight. It also has very low loss values of max. 10.5 kW and operates with natural air cooling.

Four transformers have already been successfully commissioned by our customer and are in operation 24 hours a day. We are proud of the great work done by our specialist Frank Hanisch and the entire team behind him!
